Miami is mid until they beat someone good imo. Their best win is Wake on the road. Haven't beat a ranked team.

There’s a reason they are not ranked like all the other 15-2 teams. 12 of those wins are Q3-Q4 and the Q1-Q2 are on the low end of the range.

Guess we’ll see. In 2 weeks.

He had his hand on his ankle at the end of the game and in his shoe the last minute. So something happened

Got fouled on an end of the clock 3 in the landing zone with about 3 minutes to go. Officials looked the other way.

It’s hard to win ACC games though. And they have won their last 3 by average of 10 points. Thats decent. But the schedule is pretty weak. I still have my concerns too but Donnie is putting them on his back

When we play the better teams, we need to do a better job on offense of getting Donnie the ball in the spots we need him to be in. Not at the top of the key, he needs to get the ball where Melo used to on the block or mid-post. I saw a couple of times that our guards couldn't get him the ball. The better teams are going to try and take him away. We need to make sure we are efficiently running our sets to get him the ball in spots we need him to be in.

FSU seemed 1000x more into this game than they did at home vs NC State. They are a really weird team. Refs kept this closer than it should have been. Officiating in college sports needs a complete reset. It’s become a giant joke.

FSU seemed 1000x more into this game than they did at home vs NC State. They are a really weird team. Refs kept this closer than it should have been. Officiating in college sports needs an a complete reset. It’s become a giant joke.

FSU has been blown out 3 or 4 times this year. That’s their “bad” team. We got the “good” FSU tonight that is capable of putting up a competitive game but doesn’t know how to win.

Normally good offense breeds good defense, not quite with these guys… wining these games is a must but I’m struggling to see how we compete with the big boys. That said, get through this stretch undefeated and then there isn’t a bad loss left on the schedule

Who knows? FSU just lost to Duke a week and a half ago by 4 points.

We’ve played the big boys and lost mostly due to FTs and poor shooting in general. We all wanted a blowout but this was a very predictable outcome in terms of how this game played out and ended a win. Red has been losing these games that become self inflicted wounds… tonight talent won out. Not a vote of confidence tonight but no regression either.

Betsey with huge catch and shoot treys in a back and forth affair.

Some very good takes by Kiyan and JJ and good finishing 2nd half by Kyle and White on passes inside.

Obviously the D wasn’t great but I give a lot of credit to FSU.

This team has NCAA talent. Need to see if we can overcome the early losing streak to quality teams and sadly Hofstra. That might be the killer.

I hate playing against teams that play like FSU. Puts a lot of pressure on your offense.

Gotta keep winning. But we’re making a case for the tournament committee to have to consider Donnie’s injury. He’s been playing really damn well.

Not a fan of keeping Nait on the bench while JJ and Kiyan struggle to get us into an offensive of set.

I thought Red made a critical error leaving JJ on the floor with under 2 minutes left, Thought for sure FSU was going to foul him to shoot free throws. I’m glad the FSU coaches weren’t bright enough to see their opportunity.

William Kyle took a hard fall in the first half. His knee directly hit the floor and you could hear it. I thought that was it, he’d be out. He just got up and casually walked around like nothing much had happened. And he had a great game.

Anyone know specifically what White said? We didn’t even see what happened and the next thing you know, he got T’d up. He was VERY upset and mad at himself. Sat on the bench with his t shirt over his head for quite a while. Sadiq, young man, you must do better !
