You and me both my friend I always disliked the episodes where the Lieutenant (actor Rick Jason) led the squad. If you ever get a chance watch the movie "California Kid" where Vic was a "nasty" cop. Main star in that movie was Martin Sheen with Nick Nolte having a prominent role as well.
