WOW! What an atmosphere. This is why recruiting is so difficult in the northeast. The passion isn't there. I hope FSU kicks their butt. I don't like Clemson and their better than anyone else attitude. They need to beat someone or shut up. The pressure is on Clemson with Mr. Heisman not playing.

Is it just me or wasn't there a time when most FGs under 40 yards had a pretty good chance of being good? Can't any college kickers kick anymore?

No one can match SEC/FSU/Clemson home game atmosphere. Not anyone else in the ACC, no one in the Big XII, no one in the PAC and no one in the B1G, although PSU-OSU-Michigan can come close. It's only a handful of teams that have this atmosphere and they are all located in the Southeastern part of the country.

I lived in Georgia for 11 years. Say what you want about the SEC, and trust me I have, but you're right. The atmospheres are unreal - you have to experience it to really believe it, I think.

I moved down to Atlanta last year. It's absurd. It blows away anything I've ever witnessed. Imagine Big East Tournament with Syracuse in the semifinals at MSG type electricity in every game.
