Fun flight to Syracuse today ...

Joyce, before this post, I used to wish I had your connections. Now I wish I had your luck.

Actually sounds like it was a direct flight this time.

CTO... Didn't he rip into SU at some point after we were kicked to the curb by the ACC the first time around? I'd love to ask Sean about that as I was not happy with him, professionalism or not. That being said, I'm sure he would be an interesting person to sit next to on a flight. Talented guy.

I think he trashed SU on the broadcast following our 2nd invite to the ACC.

he still bleeds orange through and through.

and just an FYI, I have seen him more than a handful of times at your usernames establishment.

I'm all for nature and scenery but 4 hours driving vs flight is no contest.

But ultimately isn't the total travel time pretty close? You have to get to the airport two hours early, then an hour flight, so that's 3 hours total.

Your insane if your getting to the Syracuse airport 2 hours early. An hour is pushing it

Yup, my general rule of thumb is anything that I can drive in 4 or 5 hours or less, I drive. Anything more than that and I fly. Without traffic I can be in Syracuse in 4:45 from where I live in NJ. When I make the trip for business, 90% of the time I drive. Plus, you are almost guaranteed to be delayed going from or coming into EWR.

Yeah, but you don't have to do anything and can drink...

But I like to have an extra hour to enjoy all the world-class amenities that Hancock has to offer, e.g. that arcade game of Golden Tee in the middle of the terminal.
There are some new amenities coming in the future that will be a welcome change

I'm pretty sure Sean isn't doing the driving.
He's probably sitting in the back seat prepping for the game...and a guy wearing a chauffer's uniform is behind the wheel.

Here is a test: Which of CTO's random passengers, Sean McDonough
th
or the UNC Women's volleyball team,

would you have been more excited to have on YOUR flight.

OK, so only HALF of them are 6 feet tall, blonde and gorgeous. I'll still take it. LOL

Most of the rest of the plane was filled with the UNC volleyball team heading to a game at SU.. They were all six feet tall, blonde and gorgeous.

And Sean McDonough never noticed.
