I like to use this site to compute team's winning percentages for various periods and how they ranked nationally:

From 1956-67, the height of the Schwartzwalder era, SU was 89-31-1, (.742), the 7th best record in the country. Everybody ranked above them was either a mid-major or a segregated team that only played other segregated teams:
I-A Winning Percentage 1956-1967
From 1968-86, we were 91-115-2, (.442), #81 in the country.
I-A Winning Percentage 1968-1986
from 1987-98, the height of the MacPherson-Pasqualoni Era, we were 104-36-4 (.736), 11th best in the country, ahead of schools like Ohio State, Alabama and Clemson:
I-A Winning Percentage 1987-1998
From 1999-2017, we were 96-134-0 (.417), even worse than the legendary bad period of 1968-86:
I-A Winning Percentage 1999-2017
Time to turn things around again!
