Funderburke and the presser

Great presser by coach shaf. watch it for sure.

he reveals whats been going on with funderburke. coach says something along the lines of that im so proud of quinta. im more proud of what hes done off the field. he had some bumps in the road, but hes got his life in order now. im so proud of him - he made a great back shoulder catch.

shafer was fired up after the game. i really root for the guy - hes bringing the pride back to SU. i think we did better than people expected 4-4 in conference and bowl eligibility

QF was the first guy Shafer hugged after that TD. Granted, he might have just wanted to squeeze the dogsh!t out of the first thing he could find, but just something easily noticed on TV.

I keyed on Quinta when he was out there just to make sure I wasn't seeing things before. The kid can play. He is so explosive and strong getting off the line. No way Marrone would make that statement unless the kid could really play. I guess we will have to wait until next season for his breakout year. I guess just something else to look forward to.

He was academically ineligible last semester so I am sure that didn't sit well with Shafer.

He is a great athlete, but the books caught up with him along with a few other issues.

He will get his shot next year.

Why does SU list him as a junior? Last year he was a transfer and in 2011 he didn't appear in a game for Arkansas, so he must have two years left. Everyone is allowed 5 to play four either for transfer or redshirt.
