It seems the NCAA looks for full service rooms and from what I see the area is still lacking those numbers. A couple of hundred rooms that offer soup to nuts service still leaves the area well short. Not to mention the airport and its lack of capacity and the Dome - new or old version, seems to be too small for what the NCAA has been selecting.
