How strange. Why would Kansas and Syracuse play in Miami? I wonder if there is a new pre-season basketball tournament starting there in 2017?
On the topic of pre-season basketball tournaments, Syracuse still hasn't committed to playing in one during the 2016-17 season. There were
all sorts of options to play in one in NYC, including the pre-season NIT, which we are finally eligible to play in again (we last played in that tournament in 2012). But it looks like we opted to skip them all. I am kind of mystified...we are apparently not very interested in playing in the Garden, or even Brooklyn anymore.
I wonder why? If I lived in the greater NYC metro area, I would not be a happy camper.
