I think Tenn is very beatable too. They are getting a ton of early season hype and have some guys for sure. Good team tough test but not some insurmountable task.

Tenn has some grown men though. JJJ, Vescovi, Aidoo, Awaka. Ziegler back from injury. Purdue is just whatever. Get calls and win at home.

Yes understood. Not denying that. They aren't a great offensive team but play hard and physical. Vescovi is crafty but not a good athlete and Ziegler is coming off a major injury to clarify. Again tough test but no reason we should be throwing the towel before we even play with this roster. Tired of the defeatist crap. Let's get to work and win some games with a very talented backcourt and team in general.

That 2011 team with Scoop, Triche, Kris, Tobias and Rick Jackson as the starters with a solid bench. As it is, that 2011 team was a 3-seed and got screwed playing Jimmy Butler and Marquette in the second round with the infamous over and back violation call.

I always thought we were a Harris away from a final four that year. He brought a midrange game in the halfcourt we lacked that year.

Tenn D looking solid as expected. Mich St guard play not good. Big Ten as usual way overrated. Getting a shot at this UT team for our first big game should be fun. You gotta have guards that can penetrate it appears... MSU does not.

So big thing about Tenn that was unknown. The new additions from smaller schools are legit. Knecht and Gainey can really play and shoot it from deep. Outside some turnovers they've looked better at times than Tenn did with Vescovi out there.
