Nope, just a Syracuse graduate that was on campus from 08-12 and miss when we were ranked and an elite program. The last 10 years have been doom and gloom and downtroddeness.

I'm sure i've contributed far more money to SU than you have if we're pocket watching.

Considering virtually no other P5 or even A10 schools offered him, I think that’s an indication. If he was generally considered ACC level he wouldn’t have committed to Siena.

Come on man, just read the board. We're all different. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we don't. But, we are a community. If someone ALWAYS irritates you, then ignore him. The admins are great at weeding out the trolls. Everyone contributes something different. I try to be funny. Some don't agree, looking at you Dcuse. Just roll with it.

Moesch had more than 15 offers even though he shut it down relatively quickly to commit to Siena.
Turned down Providence and Iowa for starters.

Out of high school Lendeborg went to Arizona Western JC at the request of his mother to continue to pursue. I believe he even redshirt in JC and spent 3 years there.

Get a grip. Make a better argument if you don’t like the one you see. Or ignore those people who aren’t here for a pep rally or worship service. Bless your heart, but seriously, it’s mind boggling to see that ‘adults (? I’m assuming)’ can’t parse that people with different experiences and different personalities have different expectations and standards, and ways of expressing themselves. Figure out how to keep yourself happy, but it won’t be by moderating opinions.

Wow, nice potshot you just took at a bunch of us. First of all, what I see is a lot of infrequent, Johnny-come-lately and casual-fan posters on this board poppin off about nonsense and telling people how to think—and now calling out folks for not posting to their ridiculous standards of positivity.

Yes, I wanted SU to go outside the family and hire Schertz or Hodgson and was against Gmac getting the job. However, I haven’t said anything negative about Gmac since his press conference. And, in fact, I have been extremely positive about all of his recent moves, especially the staff and his vision for the program. Check my posts over the past two weeks. Not sure what you’re going on about.

Also, it’s a message board. People don’t have to be positive if they don’t want. I guess you missed the longtime reigns of Alsacs, two3zone, Townie and lots and lots of other posters.

Yeah it’s ridiculous. It’s so sad that people want to debate how good players are on a msg board. Especially given how good we’ve been the last few years. Everyone should just buy in and not question anything. So frustrating. I just want rosy outlooks for everyone.

Umm… that’s the very nature of an offer of a scholarship. A coach saying “if you do A and B” or “if Joe X turns us down, we’re going to offer you a scholarship” is not, by definition, an offer of a scholarship. It’s a made up oxymoronic term, like “silent verbal”.

But seriously, while it may not be fair to GMac to lump him in with this, we haven't made the NCAA in several seasons. Not every move has worked out perfectly. So if some want to temper their expectations until proven otherwise, I think that's probably fair at this point.
