This is awful, why are we paying a kid that scored 5 ppg in the big sky and was graded the worst defender on the team by far
Well, as much as he isn't great, he does have more college minutes under his belt than a walkon and actually made a play here and there. Can’t shoot the 3 (Less than 30%), Can’t shoot FTs (61.5% from the line), Can’t defend (Worst graded defender on a bad big sky team). Even if he’s just a practice body, what is he bringing to the table a walk on isn’t? Not that this pickup bothers me obviously, I just do not understand.
So, he brings a skill. He blew in ... like the wind.
I guess he’s more valuable than a walk on.
Shrug.
If he plays any meaningful minutes the season is over anyway.
No idea what the NIL cost was. It just seems like a warm body. I’m not against it, just underwhelmed, I guess. I was just holding out for more than a practice player. Hopefully there’s more positive news down the line.Another guy. What does it cost us?

I’m just not sure how much value someone who isn’t going to play having college minutes under his belt brings, not that I disagree with the zero downside point. Obviously we’re not paying him anything and he’s not preventing us from adding someone else we want, I’m more so surprised he wanted to come here to ride the bench for his last year of basketball. Everyone is different but I’d be looking to drop down a level and get on the court.Well, as much as he isn't great, he does have more college minutes under his belt than a walkon and actually made a play here and there.
He's deep bench depth that won't block anyone, is probably stoked to be here, and is gone in a year.
Plus his last name is cool. This is a zero downside pickup.
Fennell insuranceHe might be an emergency backup point guard.
