Any thoughts on positional needs for next year? I really hope we are able to find a very solid point guard in the portal as well as a center. Specifically, who can play defense? I honestly feel we need to 2-3 portal guys, incoming class while keeping all returning players positionally that have eligibility including Donnie. If he was to get drafted, good for him. I honestly do not see it except based upon potential and that is still glaringly less than apparent. If he leaves in the portal, I feel he will regress and exponentially become exposed. Stay young man, develop your feet, mid range game and most importantly defensively, you have size and you can blossom. I am so proud of JJ. I will leave it at that. Kind thoughts?
 
Yeah those visit quotes are from months ago referencing a football game.

Unfortunately, with that list of schools one of these is not like the other. Id say were the only one whose coach has an uncertain future at the moment. I imagine it is going to very difficult to recruit for class of 26. We'll see how that goes during the Summer and Fall.
 
This kid is so talented and could go anywhere he wants. I would be shocked and would question his sanity if he chose us, but giddy if he did.

For context, post was made on February 26th. The team was in complete disarray and having one of the worst seasons in history. Coaching was beyond terrible, no system in place, a senior starting point guard who does not belong on a power conference team but was praised and supported by head coach. Myself and fanbase (perhaps even you) were down and frustrated and saw no signs of hope.

Thanks for checking in months later with your comment when calmer and cooler heads prevail.
