Now you’re changing the subject. If they do have studs returning, where do you think they would fare better? At NBA factory schools with an undebatable track record or SU?

Kingz plays the 3 now, why can’t Kiyan or Smith play the 3 next yr?Well, Rippey and Smith aren’t coming here to play behind or split time with George and/or Kiyan when they will instantly start at Duke, Kentucky or Arkansas.
That's the likely scenario if Smith signs.Kingz plays the 3 now, why can’t Kiyan or Smoth play the 3 next yr?
Not changing the subject, it’s an extension of the subject. The end game is to get to the NBA. SU doesn’t have a good track record with that and wouldn’t get the benefit of the doubt as an NBA factory school if a player split time or comes off the bench. We’ve seen loaded Duke and Kentucky teams get guys into the league not starting or with non starter minutes. We’ve only done that once, a long time ago with Waiters. Now you’re changing the subject.

Some people don't understand that those guys Duke sends to the NBA would be going to the NBA regardless of what school they choose. Jordan Smith Jr. will be going to the NBA no matter what.I really don't get "Syracuse Fans" that come to recruiting threads to recruit for rival programs. There are DUKE boards, you know. Go there.
Exactly, Duke and Kentucky have ruined more careers than they have created. Some people don't understand that those guys Duke sends to the NBA would be going to the NBA regardless of what school they choose. Jordan Smith Jr. will be going to the NBA no matter what.

Today, sure, but with appropriate attention to S&C…He's an awesome defender, he's not that awesome.

Smith is one tough, intense, and will not back down to anyone. He would try like heck to guard a center and the center would know he was there.

Get him and Sadiq beating the crap out of guys who won’t defend.I've seen him live a few times, he's a one man press. Honestly I've been scared for the guys he's guarded.

I agree. Obviously a top 5 player would fit in just about anywhere. But, we need players that play with that intensity and demand it of their teammates. He's exactly what this program needs.
