Class of 2026 G Jordan Smith Jr. (VA) Offered

Now you’re changing the subject.
Not changing the subject, it’s an extension of the subject. The end game is to get to the NBA. SU doesn’t have a good track record with that and wouldn’t get the benefit of the doubt as an NBA factory school if a player split time or comes off the bench. We’ve seen loaded Duke and Kentucky teams get guys into the league not starting or with non starter minutes. We’ve only done that once, a long time ago with Waiters.

I really don't get "Syracuse Fans" that come to recruiting threads to recruit for rival programs. There are DUKE boards, you know. Go there.

Some people don't understand that those guys Duke sends to the NBA would be going to the NBA regardless of what school they choose. Jordan Smith Jr. will be going to the NBA no matter what.

Exactly, Duke and Kentucky have ruined more careers than they have created.

The list of guys who would have been lottery picks straight out of high school that went to those schools and never made the NBA is much longer than the list of scrubs who went to those schools and built themselves into an NBA player.

Not a single Elijah Hughes or Wes Johnson the last 20 years at either college. And I'm going to take credit for Syracuse for Maliq Brown and not Duke if he makes the league. Carpet bagging an unknown guy after he blows up doesn't count...

Smith is one tough, intense, and will not back down to anyone. He would try like heck to guard a center and the center would know he was there.
