Yup. You can see how it doesn’t make sense based on new wnba deal. How much longer are folks willing to pay out for this stuff to buy a title? It’s crazy. The revenue isn’t there. I don’t see how the clearinghouse approves large deals for women’s player. They’re not marked based.

I agree with this. UConn spends less money than South Carolina and LSU spends the most. All these teams lose money so how in the world can any of the other college teams even try to compete with them. I hate all of it

I would expect lack of playing time would have been a bigger issue for Maddy than compensation, she seemed to have a lesser role than last year. Playing success and a better platform for the next stage of her career are the more likely the drivers for Burrows rather than compensation.

I wish her well. I was expecting more from her at Syracuse and I was really excited when she committed. Having said that, there was playing room to be had this year for a guard who could shoot and I think Coach Jack expected more from her and she failed to deliver. Early in the season, she got quality minutes...but she was very inconsistent shooting the ball, which was her strength. Maybe playing consistent minutes every night will help her game. When she gets hot..she can light it up from 3....I think St. Joes is a good choice for her...Philly is my home town, bet she falls in love with an authentic cheese Steak...LOL...
