I find it interesting that you can transfer within the same conference, even if a graduate. What is the rule for non-graduates who want to transfer within the same conference? At one point I thought you had to sit two years, but I'm not sure if its even allowed anymore for non-grad students.

That is determined by individual conferences, it isn't applied consistently across the entire NCAA. Some conferences have enacted that kind of rule to discourage intra-conference transfers.

But, "Whew". I'd much rather have a guy who is one of the fastest players in D1 versus a guy who gave up basketball because of bad hips.
