If he keeps playing like his, perhaps he is the guy to open a Scholly for Bryant? Dude has gone to another level in acc play. He has the size to be a 2 at the next level. Does he have an NBA handle right now? Probably not, but he can't be far away from it.
Pretty please
The problem is we probably said similar things about Jerami.I love silent G...but unless he wants to get drafted by a European team, he is so back next year.
I dont know, Duk has 3-4 guys who will be drafted and G fit in just fine tonite imoI love silent G...but unless he wants to get drafted by a European team, he is so back next year.
He though he was gone before this game.
Why is that crazy?wait you think G is leaving? Lol
I'm much higher on his upside as a 2 than you are. 6'7 athletic shooting guards who can shoot the 3 like G aren't exactly the norm, even in the NBA.He is a dreaded tweener... Doesn't have the handle of a guard or the size of a forward. It's no coincidence we have been getting killed on the boards with G as a forward. I also question his ability to get his shot off in the NBA, it's pretty deliberate. I think G needs to work on being a 3 and D player a la Bruce Bowen if he wants to make a career out of it.
I hate that about the NBA. I think G can play his way to a late first round pick next year if he comes back, but like Rak, that might be his ceiling due to age. Although, I do think G has the chance to be THE elite 2/3 in CBB next year whereas Rak is a tier below Okafor and Towns.I wonder if he'll be able to get to the rim with that ease in the NBA though. He's the type of kid that won't improve his stock too much next year I don't think. He's at an all time high right now. He won't get the number shots of his now next year. His best chance of raising his stock is probably being the true point forward next year; if he can improve his floor game he might get a longer look for a 1st round selection.
He's 4 years older than the Slam Dunk champ though, that's gonna hurt him.
