Game 3 Uniforms | Purdue

I would have done all orange for the ND game. Two days before Halloween.

But it will be nice to be able to see us in our traditional unis for all the pictures we will see for years later reliving that big win.

For the ND game...

I'd love to see us warm up in Orange-Blue-Orange before the game, then come out in a custom black jersey (Orange-Black-Orange) right before kickoff.

Just an opinion.

I realize we don't have a black jersey which is why I said "come out in a custom black jersey".

You can get jerseys customized. Ok, you can get anything customized, but jerseys are cheaper than helmets.

I am sure it wouldn't be hard to find black paint in the next 7 weeks. Getting a custom jersey made by Nike in that time is unlikely.

God they spend (or have underwritten for them) a small fortune on unis. 1 home and 1 away uniform. All you need. Creates one identity in the public mind (if there is such a thing).
OBO at Home OWO on road. Just change the shirts. Done.

O-O-O is only one more jersey.

So I could be wrong but I was told that the captains get to pick the uniform combination for home games. This is what I’ve been told in years past under Dino but this seems like something one of our studs would pick out. They call it “drip” ….

O-O-O is only one more jersey.

Yeah but it’s like 100 more jerseys and the pants are different too. No white stripe w/blue piping. So that’s another 100 (or so).
I know there’s an entertainment aspect to this so the AD hierarchy decided wardrobe changes might be more entertaining.
I really don’t care much what they wear as long as they win baby. They could be wearing nothing but codpieces for all I care – I mean orange codpieces of course.
