I understand that at some point those were the school colors but was that when there was a football team or sports in general? Like were there ever pink/pg uniforms in reality?

I saw a SU documentary once and yes I believe it showed the football team wearing it originally if memory serves.

Dino in as late as last year used to say that was above him. If this is true either he was dishonest, didn't try, or wasn't persuasive enough.

I believe he indicated on his show last night that efforts were made to have the team wear all Orange tomorrow but he nixed it. I think he referenced the traditional look and there would be potential alternates/changes in the future once the team earned it.

I believe it was during the Q&A session that was shown online.

Ive watched literally all the old footage of those teams, they definitely were grey and white.

The opponents and everyone in the crowd always seemed to be wearing various shades of grey. The field was grey too. It must have been strange living that way.
