Posting these other teams isn't too enlightening. In the end, they are football uniforms, they are going to look similar to other football uniforms with the same colors. I think this combo is great looking. They address complaints I have heard over the years: they have orange, you can clearly see the numbers, and recruits/players love having unique combos each week. Check, Check, Check.

We beat Virginia Tech at home several years ago in all Platinum. Great win! Ugly unis.

I love the Miami feel. We have every right to have a flavor of their color scheme in our uniform. Our color is Orange after all. It's a sweet looking uni, and a combo worn by those dominant Miami teams of long ago

I think it's a sharp look, although I understand the sentiment from a traditionalist standpoint.

On an aside, at least it has a good share of Orange in them, unlike those stupid "Green Wave" (Tulane) unis last night against Houston. The only green in those unis was the wave on their helmets, which was practically unnoticeable watching on TV unless it was a close up shot. At first glance, you'd have thought UNC was playing, not Tulane.

There was a green stripe on their sleeves, but you had to look closely to find it. Their colors are green and that light blue. I could see wearing green pants with those helmets, but not light blue ones. UNC does wear a combo exactly like what Tulane wore last night.
