Gameday Experience (Pre and In-Game)

Seen a few scattered threads about gameday experiences and the native song SUMB played prior to kickoff in the 90s. Had me thinking what ideas would you guys want to have for pre-game (tailgating) and in-game (chants, music, lights) etc. It can be for either football or hoops.

I always thought it would be cool to drop the lights in the Dome and have the team run out with an orange spotlight on them when they enter. No idea if the new Dome would have the capability to do this but the visual would be pretty awesome.

Weitsman and his featured friend of the evening run to center court or the 50.

Each has a sign for the crowd to recite

One says “”

The other says “Pitt”

bingo. Never changes regardless of opponent

You guys remember the cheer they tried during basketball timeouts?

4 different groups of cheerleaders would hold up signs at each end of the court.

"GO"

"ORANGE"

"BEAT"

"<Fill in the name of that night's opponent>".

It wasn't such a good idea to have the cheer end at the student section.

Unless we were playing a team named "OFF".
