Games of interest this weekend

Texas without their starting QB and 60% of their OL. That one could get ugly, especially the crowd.
Strong will keep them competitive, but I think BYU might be the real deal this year. Hill ran like a maniac last season but was a horrible passer. If he's improved as much as it looks like he may have he may be the best dual threat QB in the country.

I have no grounds in which to disagree with you, but it's worth it just to say you've been living in Utah for too long.

You're probably right. I got a good laugh out of that. The mountain air does me good, though.

But seriously, last season Hill ran for 1300 yards and 10 TDs. As a QB! He only connected on 54% of his passes though. He went for 78% against UCONN. He won't keep that pace, but if he ends the year solidly in the 60s... yikes.

Rutgers continues its budding rivalry with Howard this weekend.

Big Howard fan on 9/6...

Off topic but when I had family in SLC, I noticed more women with breast enhancements & work done than any other city I've been in. I couldn't believe it. Am I wrong?

So you already have a backup team in case Syracuse doesn't have a good season? I would never, ever root for another team besides Syracuse... unless of course that team was playing against Rutgers.

Doesn't count as a backup team if you have a degree from there.

Go Blue!

Speaking of dual threat QBs not named Hunt, I'm going to watch that Arizona game tonight, catch that redshirt freshman. They had 787 yards last week. Which is incredible when playing against air (no way we'd get more than 500, given the way air would keep our D on the field).

It's semi-common in SLC, unfortunately. Rest of the state not as much.
