  • 6PM UMASS at Richmond: Spiders sit in the First four out range. Would be good to see Richmond lose and drop out of the mix. Besides no one likes Richmond after 1988.
  • 6PM St. Louis at VCU: Lunardi has VCU as the last bye and St. Louis as next 4 out. Both ahead of us. Not sure what to root for here but in any case someone ahead of us takes a loss.
  • 7PM Georgia Tech at Virginia Tech: Ga tech has a similar profile as us and we will get a chance for the Quad 1 win on Saturday no matter what happens here. Root for Va Tech who needs to move up 6 spots to get into the NET top 30. Our win earlier in the season then qualifies as a Quad 1.
  • 7PM Notre Dame at Louisville: Ville’s humiliating defeat to UNC puts them in one of the last bye buckets. They play at Duke and at Va Tech after this so an extended slide will knock them out. Go Irish
  • 7PM Illinois at Michigan State: State is not in the conversation but if they beat Illinois then this changes. Root for Izzo to lose badly.
  • 8PM St. Johns at Villanova: The Red Storm pulled off the rare feat of losing at home to DePaul last game. Nova should have no issues here and a loss by the Johnnies keeps them behind us. A win by the Red Storm gives them the season sweep of Nova and puts them in.
  • 9PM Uconn at Gtown: Battle of two distasteful team. For the second game in a row we should root for the Hoyas. Uconn sits on the first four out and taking the road loss here would put them behind us. As a bonus, if the game is close watch the epic battle of awful coaching between Hurley and Ewing. i think Hurley is better but not by much.
