Gbinije has apparently made his decision

He's an NBA player, eventually.

Due to his versatility, I would give him a better chance than our last few 6'7 double figure scorers that many here insisted throughout their Junior years that they would/should leave early(Joseph and Fair come to mind).

Agreed. I'm not convinced he is NBA material but probably, like you say, his versatility gives him a better shot than Joseph/Fair.

So is Cooney, but hes coming back and noone said a peep about him lol.
Because G could make 6 figures right now in Europe & probably have a several year long career there, but Cooney would be lucky to scratch out $100K over 2 to 3 seasons before giving it up and going into coaching

Do you have a link for that : )

Cooney's coming back? The quest to break the rim continues!

I think in the long run a master's degree is worth more $$$ than an extra year overseas, which he still can do or float around the NBA. Then he has something fall back on when he reaches the ripe old age of 32.

I would be open to a surprise, but Cooney returning doesn't thrill me as much as Does G. Am fearing that our perimeter defense will allow more dribble penetration again, like last year, with TC in the game. His cold shooting streaks don't make opponents double him anymore. He gets too tired, as many have pointed out. Hope he splits minutes with Malachi. Hope TC can prove me wrong.

Here's hoping that his great junior 3pt shooting doesn't go south like CJ's did.
