Oy vey. Can Coughlin control him?

With Cruz hurt the move makes a lot of sense. Mike Williams' problems this year stem from the Bills coaching staff. Tom Coughlin shouldn't have much trouble with Williams.
I think that's exactly what makes it a good fit.Doesn't seem like a good fit. Coughlin is all about discipline and punctuality.

Marrone can try coming down as the disciplinarian, but he points to a .500 record as a college HC for his cred.
Coughlin comes down as a disciplinarian and shows his Super Bowl rings.
Plus, Eli would easily be the best QB Williams has ever had. WR talents are goofy - they try harder when they believe in their QB. See Moss, Randy and Brady, Tom.
the Mara's, Tisch's, Reese and Coughlin could get williams to cut his pro ISIS beard, fall in line in the locker room and perform on sundays...the problem is, that 5.2 mill guaranteed for next year.I think that's exactly what makes it a good fit.

Mike knows that the casino in Yonkers doesn't have table games, right?

Because he didn't get the ball in Buffalo and he, the first or second most talented receiver on the team, was benched on gameday for a tight end. Coughlin won't pull Bush League crap like the benching. And the only way he's not getting the ball is if the o-line doesn't allow Eli to throw it. Mike Williams has been targeted 18 times through 5 games -- this time last season he had twice that.i know Coughlin is a take no crap coach, but what makes you think Mike responds any differently to him than Marrone and Co., sometimes guys just can't follow the rules.
The thing is, Coughlin is just the kind of coach he needs, he just doesn't want to recognize that. I don't know that a "good" situation actually exists for him unless he gets his head on straight.Doesn't seem like a good fit. Coughlin is all about discipline and punctuality.
I think the Jets could use him for sure. They are devoid of playmakers/ receivers.

AC is where its at.Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods are only a couple hours away.
I'm happy to give him a ride.
