he’s a must keep NIL wise. These are the guys we have to be quasi competitive with to keep them here. I’m sure he’s gotten a lot of pitches with more money elsewhere but he’s going to be a focus here next year.

A couple weeks ago when Hatcher failed to put up a fight on another long ball I commented in the thread why we don’t give those opportunities to Gill. A couple of weeks later I got my wish that he’s started to get Hatchers passes. (this was pre injury)

I'd like to keep him, but Linemen are more important IMO. It's easier to get a good receiver than quality linemen.

Agree. But he isn't in it for the accolades. The most down to earth family. They are looking at the long picture not the game to game. Although they were pretty happy this week even though they were not able to watch the game due to a family death.

I remember when I wrote this Evaluation and really researched him.

With those stats and his performance Saturday - he is just getting to show what he has and will be a very good WR for us now and in the future. I look at the 44" VJ and the 4.41 speed and I am a believer after the game this past weekend. So glad Fran got him out there! Another Texas boy - good for him.
