JB being JB appears to have been willing to put up with more crap and continue to invest in Frankie. So maybe what we saw play out was a decision that if we could bring in Quade JB was willing to do so and hand him the reigns over Frankie, but JB didn't like the other guys that Hop was suggesting as alternatives well enough, so he didn't want to extend offers to them when they were available.
