Got an anniversary coming up on Monday. (This woman has put up with me for 3 years!) We have an HOA meeting Monday, so we are doing dinner Friday. She just informed me this morning that she would like to join a group of our friends to do some snow machining Saturday morning, and a concert after (Johnny Cash tribute band). We start riding at 10am, will prolly be back by 4 or 5 (depending on how many bars we stop at). Game starts at noon here.

We will be at the first bar, and the only bar that will have cable around 11. Quick breakfast, I might be able to catch the start...

I tried to pull the whole "but baby, cuse plays at noon!" card, but she quickly reminded me about our 1st anniversary when I left her at the restaurant during dinner because the waiter informed me they were able to get the SU-ND game on the TV in the lodge. I was able to catch the last 5 minutes of the game. If you remember we lost that game. (damn you Fab)

So according to the wife, if I bail on anniversary activities, SU will lose. I'm taking one for the team here, folks.

Wives come and go - SU Hoops last a lifetime.

when this happens to me, i b*tch and moan the entire time. i ruin the entire day. it causes an argument that lasts a week. now my girl leaves me at home. she probably snow machines over to her paramour's house.

I missed the wife's birthday to go to Bills/Patriots week one. I felt pretty guilty though. But it was a great day for football other than the Bills losing a tight one...

lol i might b*tch a little today and tomorrow, but I always at least pretend to have fun when we do things together... Snowmachining is actually something I love doing, I just hate missing games

first tee bails on us, now this! what the hell is going on here??????

Let this be a lesson for the future. When next years schedule is released, get out in front of this, and for any potential conflict identified, send the Mrs out for a spa day.

I also think you have additional grounds for protest. Wedding anniversary plans with friends? This isn't her/your birthday man! You're surrendering too easy man, though I'll give you points for superstition for the team's sake.

Am i the only one married to a girl who actually checks the basketball schedule before making plans???

I mean come on guys. Horseback riding? There are women out there who love sports. Its your job to find them.
