…. to hear from Dino in his Monday press conference that on Sunday Eric was sitting in a hot tub with TD and himself and got into it on his own is very good news! Now that it sounds like he isn't really a BIG question mark for this Saturday and that DB said he “could” play it remains to be seen how the rest of this week plays out for ED and how much information Babers gives to the media. The fact that the HC said that TD is going to get many more reps than usual lets me believe he's not banking on Eric's complete recovery and wants to give TD all the work he can going into Boston.
Most know 36 – 3 wasn't caused only by the talent and experience of ND although that had its place in the conversation – it was because for only nine minutes we had our leader then he was gone. You take out the opposing QB and all he's accomplished and you have an empty space with someone trying to take his place.
Watching Dino's address to the media, I had to smile and sense that he is, as I mentioned in an earlier post, a genuine, sincere man who really knows how to handle a presser with a smile and class. He has them in his hand laughing with him. The HC we've been waiting for.
When we were discussing in the thread about, getting him more $ now so he won't be lured away, I suggested that he is here for the long run, loves the Dome, this geographical area and IMHO is going to retire here. No crystal ball, it's just the way he goes about giving out information about this team and that they're almost all his recruits now. An enclosed updated 40,000+ facility is equal to Death valley in fan presence and LOUD. Love his attitude.
I'd like to know the back and forth at a lunch with he and Wildhack this week. I must assume they both agree on what the “New Dome” will be like and how it will positively affect fans, recruits and the viewing public. We are on television/ streaming in front of a national audience many times during a football and basketball season and with the ACC network every game.
In the future I hear, “Wow, look at that!” The new roof, what I've seen of it is going to be an architectural showpiece that will be the lead - in to the first and every broadcast after. Camera pans to the new scoreboard before moving to the field or court.
Let this week end's disappointments pass. Those memories are present if you think about them now and have negative emotions towards them. If you let them go they tend to disappear as long as you let them.
It's still a great, exciting time to be Orange. GOSU![Smile :) :)](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/smile.png)
