Shafer is a stud. That was a pretty good offense, and our defense dominated most of the game.

Goggins and Bromley have simply been huge this season. Wouldn't be shocked if Shafer made Pitt, USF, and Cinci look somewhat tame as well, but WVU might be too tough to slow down.

Simply put, Scott Shafer is a god send as the other units need lots and lots of work. Think about what this team would be like if Shafer wasn't here? Scary thought.

He is one of the best coaches ever at Syracuse. Doug needs to step up and pay him some huge dollars without him we are winless at this point

defense was wayyy improved over the first 4 games. it was nice seeing the rutgers quarterbacks on the ground so much, and their running game not being able to find holes
