Idiots wore their traditional uniforms and school colors.

And that's just what I saw....with more games to come!!!

While I think this is a very funny post, I can't agree with you if only because I know for certain I've seen ND, LSU, Georgia, Florida State all wear "alternate" uniforms in the past.

And I'm pretty sure I've seen Pitt in a gold jersey instead of white, but not 100% sure.

And ORANGE is the only color recruits don't think can be cool, then change the school nickname and color.

Black, white and grey are unofficial color fillers, so whatever.

Blue is another schools color.

Not ours.

So, who cares if they looked good.

And tommy, i may not have the muscle to get it done anymore, but I can at least throw around the weight...

Those blue helmets were the only helmets to have an actual ORANGE S LOGO - so they must be the TRUE LOGO CAUSE ITS ORANGE. And we are the ORANGE. Cause it's our name.

It's also the only color that's a fruit. Maybe our helmets should be made of an actual ORANGE peel? That would be really true to our name and make logical sense.

Please let me know what the "awful lot" to keep up with here is? I see posts from someone with an irrational reaction of a uniform change for the team he roots for because he is not in favor of it because there is not enough orange.

Stomping your feet and holding your breath isn't going to change anything...you are the one that should be sitting this one out. Uniforms are not a battle you are going to win or be happy with.

Okay. Bringing this dead horse back up for one more kick while actual recruits and current players love it? Asinine.

Complaining over the amount of orange in the uni? Again? What's the correct percentage of orange to meet the truly basic, kind if insane "it's our name" threshold you've established? Like 40%? 62%? 10%?

What's the more Orange-y option to you? An orange helmet with a blue S? Or the blue/orange helmet with an orange S? The athletic department wants to know so the can properly meet your threshold for Orange-ness.

What if they wore pink and green as throwback uni? That would be truer to our roots? Not a speck of orange.

Lastly. Who cares what we think? I want the team that has to wear the thing and the kids who might want to wear it to be proud to put it on.

I like the new unis. Anyway, if the Auburn Tigers can have a mascot that's an eagle and the Stanford Cardinal can have a mascot that's a tree, what's the big deal with the Orange having a uniform that isn't 100% orange. If the players and recruits like them and they win games, that's enough for me. Let them play with Carmen Miranda's bowl of fruit on their head for all I care. Just as long as they win.

If a recruit said they liked the all blue uni's, it doesn't mean they don't like orange and blue ones. And I'm sure uniform colors are way down the list, if not off it, in choosing a school.
