Not sure if this was mentioned in another thread but despite his size, Ellison can ball out. He was out there striking people, including a 240+ lb quarterback. If he came down with that pick in the 4th quarter, then he would have had an incredible game.

He was everywhere. 5'8" and 177 lbs soaking wet. Completely, utterly fearless. I love watching him play.

I dont think he should start along cordy next year given both of their heights but he should find some way to be the nickle

Dino just called out #19 specifically in todays BC presser. Said for a guy of his size, to just throw his body around, and make his presence felt with utter disregard for his own body/health, has the biggest heart on the team.

Played like a golden god Saturday. And I think he's just starting to get comfortable alongside Williams back there. He deserves much more credit than he has received. Was excellent in run support. Absolutely swung the hammer on a few plays where he filled the middle.

They both need to be on the field. If you only play one it should be Ellison IMO.

He and Rodney Williams look comfortable playing together. Communication is a huge key in zone (bball and football) have to think having the same two safties a few weeks in a row will help.

So while I think this praise is legit and deserved, it isn't bad to praise a Bosco guy and build a report with NJ coaches, especially Toal, all while recruiting his QB and an OL for the next class.

Looks like Don Bosco Prep is being good to us. Ellison, the walk on linebacker, DeVito, possibly the2 players that came with DeVito.
Yes. Didn't see this before I posted, but I have similar thoughts

Ellison has really proven to be a playmaker. If he were a little bigger, he would have landed at a factory.

But Iommi and others told us what a difference maker he was at the high school level who consistently made an imprint on games, we're starting to see why now.

Kid was amazing on offense at Bosco. Did absolutely everything to help his team win. If we had some depth, I'd say get him in for a few plays in the slot, get him the ball on a reverse, etc. He has great hands too, so I wouldn't expect too many more drops.

Playmaker. But wow, has he been bringing the lumber. And he doesn't miss tackles.

Babers isn't blowing smoke. Ellison was named a starter against BC earlier today. He is going to get a workout with run support

Also should give a shout-out to #27. George hasn't developed into the running back I thought he would, but he is a hell of a special team player. My man flies down the middle of the kick coverages. Nice to see him back, coverage teams are much stronger with him out there.
