Kansas better suited to make a run in NCAA than Syracuse. That was your comedy relief for today. such an impressive win against a gutsy KState team. Kansas has pro's Syracuse has joe's

He also said something like Syracuse is better built for winning the conference. It didn't make any sense. It was nonsense, I just decided to post our Dougie Daily.

yea kansas putting up 59 points and winning by 5 to an unranked team was a shellacking.

at this point dougie has to root against syracuse to prove his point.

he's in borderline meltdown mode. He is making no sense in his assessments now.

Not sure why you all even let him get to you anymore I just turn the TV to another channel when he is on. Any sane fan knows Doug is a Big 12 homer

Can we please put a moratorium on starting a new thread every time Gottlieb says something? Seriously.
Sorry it's called Dougie Daily it's a new column.

He knows how to push some of the Orange fans buttons and he likes the attention you all give him. My lord the football part of the "experts" is a lot worse than basketball probably because in basketball they can be proved wrong in a playoff while in football they remain smug and can lobby the title.

I honestly never even hear or see him. No idea when he is on. The only place I ever read/hear anything from him is on this board.

the guy is all over the place. I think he works 80 hours a week.

I watched the Kansas- KST game last night. I was not impressed by Kansas in that game - at all. Kansas is a turnover machine, led by Mr. Turnover himself, Taylor.

Last night's SU squad would have beaten last night's Kansas squad by double digits, mainly from fastbreak points off turnovers.

I watched portions of that game and I can't remember seeing a more poorly played game in a long time, especially by K St. I mean on offense they ran around like they weren't sure what to do witht the ball. At times several of their playersd looked to be frightened to get the ball. Kansas on offense wasn't much better.

That's what happens when you paint yourself into a corner--you start grasping at straws to hang on to your flimsy arguments.

Honestly, who cares what that imbecile has to say at this point? 26-1, sucker.

him. To quote Scoop from after the Stanford game: "Just win" and everything else will take care of itself. Nothing Gottlieb or any other of the moronic talking heads on ESPN has to say has any impact on how our team will perform from here on out.

You would think SU lost last night.

Funny, cause Kansas St. was one blocked shot away from getting within 2 pts of Kansas with ~1 minute to play and full tilt momentum. Kansas St. is not on Louisville's level.

KSU could have won that game last night if they had any kind of offensive players. They missed several opportunities for easy buckets down the stretch that would have put them in position to win but they just panicked in those situations.

Kind of an odd comment considering our conference foes are so familar with our zone...most pundits usually say (at least in the past) once out of conference (tourney time) the zone helps us since most teams don't see it very often, therefore, have difficulty executing. :noidea:

Say, I know he has his radio show, but what does he do in the offseason? What does Jay Bilas do from May to October? Something I've occasionally wondered . . .

Arnold Schwartzenegger=Terminator like Doug G = Unhealthyness to college ball

Things I would rather listen to then Doug G.

Honestly, I think Kansas is much better than they were early this season. Taylor is a good scorer and avg. 5-6 assists/game and is not the turnover machine someone indicated. Robinson and Withey are one of the best big man combinations in the country. A team nobody will be anxious to see in March.

i still dont trust taylor in any close game, especially in a one and done situation in the ncaa tourney. Taylor will eventually cost KU a game, my guess is in the ncaa. And I would like to see KU in the tourney, i think our zone defense would cause them hella problems.
