about one thing. Monmouth got hosed. Bilas also very strong on this point. Mid major that did everything the Committee says you should do and still didn't get in. Gottlieb is still a jerk.

I had Monmouth in IMO. They played a lot of road games and won. I wouldn't have put Tulsa anywhere near this bubble.

How they got in was laughable.

This one was tough for me they did have some awful losses (three of them) but I would have given them tulsa's slot to be honest

They didn't get hosed. They lost to 3 teams with sub 200 RPI ratings. Their RPI was inflated because they loaded their schedule with road games.

That's the point. They played nearly all of their OOC games on the road and won several.

If you are a small school and want to dance, win your conference tourney. It's in your power to end the debate.

Dougie also said we'd beat Dayton. Hehe

I hope so. I want that 20th win and hopefully to shut some people up who said we dont belong there.

Against sub 200 rated teams. They beat UCLA, Notre Dame and USC. Good teams but not a reason to put them in the tourney.

They shouldn't have lost to Army and a couple of other crappy schools.

The neutral site wins versus Notre dame and usc are nice.

Where it gets lost is ucla and gtown. Everyone looks at those names and and gets hooked. But if you replaced those names with uc Santa Barbara and ut Arlington, they would be better rpi wins but no one would give a .

Tulsa and vandy have no business in the tourney

We shouldn't be a 10
Oregon st shouldn't be a 7

Otherwise well done

All conferences should be able to determine if they want to send the reg season or post season winners to NCAA. Post season can go to NIT. It's ridiculous that Holy Cross is in the tourney

If the committee replaced Tulsa with Monmouth they would have had a great night.

I totally agree. I also think Binghamton native King Rice might get a call if Hopkins gets passed over

agree don't give midmajors automatic at large bids, in this case they should be in a play-in game.
They should Extend the number of play in games to 8 while they are at it. Two play in games is stupid, make it a all day event, and make the winners 8 and 9 or 10 and 11 seeds or something.

There has been a recent trend the last 5-6 years where 4-5 teams have really had some nice top 25,50 and 100 wins, that is completely different then looking at a overall record. The same reason we got in.

The 20 wins is an irrelevant accolade to me. Dayton is a bad matchup but we have more potential to be successful from outside than last time.

they already can do that

The early line has us as a pick. Theyre not always right, but as a 10 seed and with folks not thinking we were getting in(especially during the selection show!), but I am excited. If Dayton isnt a scoring team, I feel we have a shot to out defense them. To be honest, I'll have to study more about them before I can say much. I appreciate your take.

they just have to decide and let the ncaa know how they want to do it. if you that though the conf tourney is done as no one would show up.

I wanted Monmouth to make it. They should get credit for all the road games they played. But here are the NCAAT teams they beat this year: ND, USC, Iona. That isn't enough to make up for the non NCAAT teams they lost to: Army, Canisius, Manhattan.

The media likes to point to the P5 teams but it really was the AAC and A10 that got the undeserved bids.

VCU beat the following NCAAT teams: Middle Tennessee State, St Joe's, Buffalo. Their best win was over an 8 seed! They also had 5 losses to non NCAAT teams. Including UMass and George Mason who are bad teams.
