Gottlieb, Lunardi, Forde, Davis

No disagreement there.

I'd rather have a flip flopper who makes sense than a stubborn idiot who won't adjust.
I liked this post, but have to say sometimes there are individuals who flip flop several times in just one speech or interview. But that's probably not what you mean by makes sense.

Lunardi really sucks. This whole narrative is mostly his creation because he sucks at his job.

If he wasn't on TV for 4 days saying Syracuse was so far off the radar for the tourney that we had no shot, this narrative doesn't exist. He sucks arse. The rest of these tools suck for listening to him and not Bilas, or even Jay Williams who never wavered that Cuse should be in. Blah. ESPN for that.

I guess if it motivated us though - thank you. :)

Lunardi is a tough one for me. I appreciate the season long discussion he creates to what has honestly and unfortunately become a niche sport.

But you're right it gets out of hand when he's taken as gospel. I still remember everyone complaining the 6ot yr we shouldn't have jumped from a 7 seed to a 3 on a few BET games. Wait, why were we a 7 in the first place - cause Lunardi said so? Like it wasn't possible that he was putting too little weight on Memphis & Kansas road wins.

where were all of them they when this happened.
19-14, before a first round exit to a 7 seed.
big 10 had 2 teams in the sweet 16 that year wisky and ohio state and 0 in the elite 8.
That team lost 9 of its last 16 games.
That team also didn't play 9 games without its head coach, with head coaches first game back against number 1 in the country.
That team also played 1 elite 8 team that year uconn and lost, we have played 5 and won 2.

got to love brand name hipocricy. It may not make them look dumb on national tv (although I feel it does) but as Townie would say, it certainly does on message boards that have the facts.

Lets explain the difference betweeen a collapse by virginia vs SU imposing their will.
A collapse is what happened with UNI vs A and M. Just throwing the ball away under your own basket leading directly to buckets.

What we did was sped them up to play at a pace they were not comfortable with. We took them out of their comfort zone. They really didnt have THAT many turnovers even. And those they had were forced. There is a reason pressure defense is called pressure defense. That play where Malachi threw the ball off the dude out of bounds? that was a PLAY made, not a play NOT made by them.

Malachi taking his man off the dribble and drilling step backs is NOT a collapse by Virginia. Please. wath the UNI vs A and M game and then this game and the differnce is clear to everyone without an agenda.

Like JB after Gonzaga, "we took it from them". Same thing happened last night. We caused a disciplined UVA team to play like a bunch of freshmen while our two freshmen played like seniors!

Congratulations Orange and go get em in Houston. Mrs Fairfax and I will be in Indy rooting for the Ladies. I expect a game watching party like no other on Saturday night...

Don't get married. Oh wait, I thought you were saying you preferred the idiot.
