I give up. Conference realignment makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

This move is totally one-side. UMD and Rutgers are being used like tools. B1G is using them for access to TVs and (for the traditional B1G fan in the midwest) a sell to visit the big cities for away games. It doesn't matter what the quality of the programs at UMD or Rutgers whatsoever - just access to big markets.
