Appreciate you sharing. As a fan I see this as a great fit for what Cuse needs next year, perhaps the fit may not be not be the best for what Cole needs.
Too much to ask of a true freshman.I thought we had a pretty good 24 Recruit coming in (J W ). He may be a very good back up if he learns quickly.
You never know, especially if it’s later in the season and he has had more reps in practice.Too much to ask of a true freshman.
Is he an early enrollee? That would help a lot.You never know, especially if it’s later in the season and he has had more reps in practice.
That seems to be the speculation but I'm not aware of anything official.I am not sold on him, but I thought Davis did reasonably well for a freshman tossed into the fire during the bowl game. I am fine with him as a #3 or maybe even #2.
Is DRW totally out of the picture at this point?
I think we’d all like that but it doesn’t hurt to have a contingency either. But Jakhari being an early enrollee is going to have every opportunity to be that guy.I'd rather have Jakhari as the backup. This guy isn't it.
A true freshman? Don’t know about thatI'd rather have Jakhari as the backup. This guy isn't it.
Jahkari has the higher ceiling no doubt but there's too much unknown about him. Cole is limited but you at least know what he can and can not do in a game. An OC can manage a game around that.I think we’d all like that but it doesn’t hurt to have a contingency either. But Jakhari being an early enrollee is going to have every opportunity to be that guy.
And it’s 1 year not a big dealJahkari has the higher ceiling no doubt but there's too much unknown about him. Cole is limited but you at least know what he can and can not do in a game. An OC can manage a game around that.
GTFOOHMaybe he actually wants a masters degree from su. Possibly sports broadcasting or mba. Some kids may except their not nfl bound and want to maximize their education. I know it’s a shock in the current nil immediate transfer world but there are still some that value an education.
Yep. Game manager type. Doesn’t have to be Peyton Manning.Jahkari has the higher ceiling no doubt but there's too much unknown about him. Cole is limited but you at least know what he can and can not do in a game. An OC can manage a game around that.
My family threw a little party when I paid my last student loan bill.Maybe he actually wants a masters degree from su. Possibly sports broadcasting or mba. Cole would have a shot to start at EMU, their QB isn’t that great.

Guys do improve. I wouldn't write them off yet.Neither is Carlos. Neither is Braden. And who knows if they’ll even stay.
I’d take this UB kid in the mix, as long as the price tag is low.
