He had a very good game but was not very good from the FT line and he missed a bunch of follow jams.

Dude is playing with much more confidence; A few of those attempted follow stuffs would've been of the spectacular variety. Kid is going to be a star in a few weeks. His jumper looks a little better and he just looks very confident. He needs to finish with more regularity and with his stronger body, that should come as well.

I'm excited for his future but think it will only be until April in a Syracuse uni.

He becomes a 70% free throw shooter, he becomes a top 15 draft pick.

Free throw shooting won't hold Grant back from being a lotto pick.

seriously

Last year I would watch Grant warm up and he would consistently knock down 10-15 consecutive 15 foot jump shots. I always wondered why he didn't have the confidence to take it in the game? Good thing it looks like he has the confidence to let it rip this year. I don't have a problem with him taking jump shots one bit because I know he can knock it down. Just think to his dad, and uncle, they made their living being able to do that. He just has to be careful not to fall in love with it, and mix in drives accordingly. Defenses are going to have to adjust to him taking that shot, so he will benefit big time. He is in store for a monster year

I'm not seeing a guy who is a sure fire top 10-15 pick. Not this year. He needs another year of polish and a season without CJ, where he can be a first option player. This upcoming draft is going to be deep with the freshman class. Then, there will be the slew of kids who newly distinguish themselves. Grant, as a 6th man, could pull it off like dion, but grant is such a 'quiet' player. I hope we hold on to him for another year. Some refinement and the self-assuredness that will come from being 'the man' for a season will serve him well.

10 more plbs and he attains mf'ing beast status.

I think that's the pitch Boeheim will use--come back and be the focal point of the offense.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out. If Grant has the year I believe he's capable of, he'll definitely be in lottery contention. But he might not have the same financial pressures that many [most?] college basketball NBA prospects have, which might induce him to return for the opportunity to be the go-to guy and rise up the draft boards.

I was thinking that as well. And he grew up around the NBA and has his dad and his uncle, who can give him better advice about when to go pro, if he's ready, etc than most kids. He's certainly got great advisers who will tell him if he's ready to not only make it to the league, but STICK in the league, which is the most important part.
