Agree. I think this year's team is better (and we're closer to the top teams, too).

At least we defend consistently. 2009's team didn't play defense, but they were just as capable of the interminable scoring drought as we are now (that helped Oklahoma pull away, and I recall scoring about 10 points in the last 12 minutes of the Stephen . Austin game).

agree 100%. when this team is "on" we're as good as anyone. i never got that feeling about the 2009 team. never felt that was a final 4 team, this year i do.

That's the way I see them too. Same goes for Marquette. I would love to play them on a neutral court with tournament refs. Get past IU and Cuse can get to Atlanta. How about a 3 Big East team final 4 for old times sake?
