Two things...
1) That is a very oddly written article. I can’t tell if the writer is trying to be Faulkner or if he never took a writing class.
2) I didn’t know Juli was from Harlan. You never leave Harlan alive.

To the Washington Post editor who oversees Chuck Culpepper's work: If the reader has to work (overtime) to understand every sentence, then it's a very poorly written piece.

Buddy has a foot in the NBA right now. The one thing that could mess it up is if his brother transfers, shoots at a higher clip, but the team struggles especially defensively.
