Great day for the freshmen!

On both sides of the ball, the freshmen (true and redshirt) did a terrific job today. Tucker and JJ on offense. Carter, Hanna, G. Williams, Wax, Thompson, Linton, Cantin-Arku on D. And many others. future looks very bright for many of them. And it really seems as though the D did not suffer from the inexperience out there.

Great job guys!
Tucker - Wax - Carter all from the DMV. area where the HS. football is very competitive a lot of D1 prospects come out of that region with assistant coaches Chip West and Reno Ferri doing a great job recruiting it.

There’s good size and bad size. Doesn’t mean jack if you can’t move well.
Right. I've see guys in the NFL that had big guts but you could look at their arms and legs and just tell that they were locomotive strong. I don't have that same perception of White.

Did anyone see the size of qadir white? Why the hell cant he play

Yes, and I can see why he is not on the 2 deep! On the other hand I would not want to be a center and have him on the nose across from me!

Agree completely. But to keep the faith of the faithful, the O is going to have to start coming around.
I’ve been critical of the O since day 1, And I don’t think it’s good. But I do think that we’re closer than we look. I can see a world where the OL is tangibly better next year, as is our running game. I can also see how both would help open up the passing game, especially if some of the young guys step up. Will we be “good” on O? Probably not. Can we be good enough to take advantage of good defense/special teams play and win games? I think we at least have a pretty good shot.

I think we can still be “good” this year. Got to even out the OL, and bring the younger WRs up to game speed.

Not sure whats wrong with the link I provided above but Bleacher Report has our entire defensive freshman listed as top 10 freshman performers for 2020. We check in at #4 and they specifically called out Garrett Williams, true freshman linebacker Stefon Thompson, true freshman safety Ja'Had Carter and true freshman linebacker Marlowe Wax.
