Great night in the Dome

I appreciate the quality of the picture. Was that taken with the first flip phone ever made w/ a camera?

Syracuse.com. Just a low rent, dumpy operation in all aspects.

That came across as a bit stalker-ish to me also.
Maybe I'm spoiled, but I was disappointed they didn't report exactly what he ordered and disturbed by the poor quality of the photo. I've come to expect so much more from a publication that regularly showcases the writing skills of Brent Axe and other rising journalistic superstars.

as for complaints about the dome

i would bet my millions that they all went into the same bathroom used by a certain poster during the game- heck may have just been in the closest section or walked by after he did his thing-

his odoriferous odors can be the only reason some didnt enjoy the dome that i could think of-

The concourse congestion is so horrific. It is the main reason I do not attend more than one or two basketball games each year. I cannot believe there are people that don't want a new dome.
Once we get there we never leave our seats until the end of the game. We are talking 2.5 hours. Amazing how many people need to get up and clog up the hallway during halftime. No need for it.

I can see some probably older people appreciating it for the throwback nature of the place - I would imagine anyone
fairly young (that didn't grow up here) is going to be slightly shocked (disappointed) by the Dome.

Plus Louisville plays in facility that opened in 2010 and NC State plays in one that opened in 2000 and according to wikipedia was renovated as recently as 2008 and 2009 so I'm not surprised by their reaction either.

Get in, get your beers, and get to your seat early. Don't try to get food/beer at halftime (duh!). Walk along the bleachers to your exit instead of using the concourse.

This is my recipe for success. I only find the congestion annoying during crowds of 30k. And even then it's not so bad.

But, wouldn't it be nice to have a venue where one didn't need a "recipe for success" and could move around freely?

The concourses at the Dome are horribly narrow. Would be great if expanding that is something they could do but the issue is always the Dome can't really expand anywhere. Closed in every direction other than Irving, and even that has the new Law School building close by

sight lines are great for football. There is no reason why a new dome could have these same sight lines and have wider concourses.
