Greatest College Football Players by Jersey Number

They made a mistake...

No. 41 — Glenn Davis, HB, Army (1943-46)
Davis, the famed Mr. Outside for Army, averaged almost one touchdown every nine plays. A three-time All-America, he scored 59 touchdowns during his career and won the Heisman in 1956. He finished second in the Heisman voting in 1954 and 1955.

Not necessarily. I mean Gino Toretta was #13 and I'm sure there were many 13s there were better.

Good point. I can only argue that #13 says it all... beyond that, not many good arguments.

while I love DonnieMc, im stunned hes the #2, #9...of ALL TIME.

there a few #s I checked just to make sure this list wasn't totally bogus, obviously 44...but ill add 22 & 34.
