Greatest SU game ever that has been virtually forgotten

Yes, met you in that lot. Drove down from NYC just because there was no TV. What a crazy game it was.
Yup...it was cool to meet other crazy fans. My son should be up for the ND game. We should try to pregame somewhere and I'll introduce you to him. He can practice his Russian on you.

LOL. Cool, will be there with my daughter and my best friend. Your son will get plenty of practice ;)

Awesome highlights. The other subplot of the day was that was the first game we played after the botched ACC invite of 2003, where UNC put the nail in our coffin. Winning that one was pretty sweet (then we hit the wilderness).

I was there...I think I did some research and let people know on the board (which one was it in '03?) where to park. As I recall it was a lot behind a church?, library? off Franklin. I think I bought an extra ticket off Chip (although I didn't know it at the time) in the parking lot for my sister. Chip wasn't happy when I negotiated the price down...as I knew singles are hard to peddle.

That game was the infancy of doing/organizing pregame tailgates...I gave the parking info but there were a few random Cuse fans there...but everyone was into themselves. Several set up mini tailgates out of their truck, SUV or trunk with a few chairs, mini-grills and cooler. This was back when Internet meet-ups for sports events was still weird. I didn't tailgate back then. The UVA game in 2004 was genesis of our Fine Mess away game tailgates...

It was behind the Newmann Catholic Center. Was with family at a nearby fraternity house but walked through quickly (internet friends). The tailgates have come a long way.

johnnie morant . didn't we basically burn his red shirt his freshman year for basically zero production ?

His blocking on those couple plays were so essential to that 56-0 win over Buffalo.
