Griffin Cook goal controversy

the ESPN pre season show made a pt of goalies being aggressive on those dive plays to get contact called because that takes away the goal even if its after the goal goes in..

Karma. The no call on the Army mid who laid Drake out behind the goal on a clear while still in the crease and the bogus turnover called on Rehfuss for allegedly stepping in the crease while dodging behind the net (he didn't). Desko was going crazy on both of these.

Hmmm wonder why he didn't say a similar thing about Spencer's goal (picture below shows contact with goalie before ball in the goal). Oh right he's biased and acts like he isn't.

Where was all the angst last week when 250lb Tehoka launched into Porter ?

Looking back through McEwens tweets, I will say he has been consistent in that he doesn’t like the rule. His tweets are also big on player safey, such as when he is calling out what he sees as dirty excessive hits. That said, he didn’t tweet anything specifically about Tehoka’s dive, who weighs 60-70 pounds more than Cook (per the roster) and I really see it as an at least somewhat similar play. Go figure it was 160 pound cook being pushed into the crease that is his figurative straw that broke the camels back
