Watching NC- Michigan, both coached by people who played for their alma mater. They showed a list of other prominent coaches who played for their alma mater. JB’s name was no where to be seen. Coulda sworn he played for the Orange. Seriously, doesn’t the list start with him?

And that network has nothing but Syracuse grads employed there. Man, they suck.

Unprepared, under - researched, uniformed people who have now given people incomplete information, brilliant.

I didn't see the list but if you add up their total wins, how does it compare vs JAB's.

Or, Bill, they simply made a mistake. That’s a helluva generalization you just made, especially considering all of the information that is compiled and shared during an average CBB telecast.

Did they also miss Dave Bing on the NBA 75th anniversary team?

That is one way to look at it. On the other hand, it makes me question what things they post that I don't know are incorrect. That is why the media has to be solid.

Yeah, why have a list if it isn’t checked to be accurate?

I mean, a Google search for “college basketball coach alma mater” returns the following first result:

Followed by a bunch of other links that also include JB. This took me all of 15 seconds.

I didn't see the list -- is it possible they only selected players that made the NBA?

Otherwise, terrible.

Perhaps his stint as a golf coach muddied the research?
