Guess What?

I’m so excited for this year. I have a family trip to 1000 islands Labor Day weekend. Already set the expectations with the wife that we come home from the boat early and she has the kids starting at 6pm, because Cuse football is on! Not quite the same as getting to travel to Ohio, but nothing like the anticipation of a new season!

I also second the diet ginger ale very solid!
Where in the 1000 Islands? I’m camping at Keewaydin that weekend

I'll be at my signal-less cabin in Northern Maine. Hanging from a sugar maple - trying to get one bar of 3G on my phone. Only time EVER it sucks not having a signal up there.
You might need to make a drive into Millinocket

Fortunately my camp has broadband out front...

Jack Daniels.
This was my aircraft

I got my son's aircraft bottle up at the camp, I'll crack open the next time he makes a game

This is depressing these guys think we'll win one or two games.

What’s sad is that they truly thought that Culpepper was our starting QB last season.

I mean, I hate to say it, but what these guys are saying is reality to the rest of the college football world.

we may look at this team go “meh it’s not that bad.” But truly it is. Just listen to those stats they rattled off.

Let’s hope Dino still has some magic up his sleeve and we can get a few wins this season

clueless "analysts" who likely never played the game and over rely on the metrics understanding none of the nuances of the sport. Like the vital importance of senior leadership and a team gelling together to be a close knit team:

Listen to nothing they say, well almost nothing, did they even mention the transfer qb shrader?
No we’re gonna be somewhere between 6-6 and 8-4. You heard it here first.

If they were stats from last year, flush em

I have not had my kool-aid yet, but reality thinks about 4-5 wins also. I will be finalizing my Cali pick this week
Actually that is pretty rational...I could see 4 wins too.

The whole key is injury mitigation...however team depth overall is much better.

As always going to come down to the OL and DL

I am probably going with 5. I may be overly pessimistic but my iggy and Cali predictions the past several years have shown I had my orange-colored glasses. So I may be overcompensating by trying to be a bit more objective.

But Rex was our starting QB they said...TD must of been behind him.

Kool-aid tells me 8-4

Reality thinks 5, 6 or 7 wins
Yep. That’s where I am. 5-7 wins, 8 if the ball bounces the right way

Based on the prior 2 year performances I don't know if I can disagree with anything these guys said... Key quote "who is Dino without Sean Lewis"

Ohio is going to tell us alot about this team. Win by more than 2 TD's then I think we make it to 6+ wins, win by ~3 I think we get 3 wins, lose and I could see us ending the season with 1 win vs Albany.

the non conference record will say a lot: win 3 or 4 we should be bowling. win 2 we likely will have to upset a team to bowl, win 1 dino is likely not coaching past this year
