Always one of my favorite players because he was such a bulldog of a competitor. And for a guy who was often criticized as a less than enjoyable, if not often miserable playing partner, he was composed, honorable, quite dignified, magnanimous, honest and straightforward. I secretly kept looking for something to not like about him, but found nothing. And he had a great and easy sense of respect for the history and traditions of the game, venerating the greats of the past without anything negative toward the players of today. Like many of the Feherty interviews, I really enjoyed the program.
