My grievances:
1) I have a full keyboard for my iPad. I am using it now. It works great. Except one key only works 1% of the time. It is the delete key and I end up needing to use it a couple of times every sentence. Because the crappy delete key on this crappy Bluetooth keyboard almost never works, I have to keep showing the keyboard over and over to delete a bad character. While on that topic, when you click on the keyboard icon, it should just display the keyboard. I never want to do anything but.show the keyboard when I click on the keyboard. Lenrich, you suck! Apple, you suck!
2) When watching SU football games, I like to have my phone opened to the Cuse.com web site football roster page. I make sure I select the third (text only) view, so it loads quickly and is easy to scroll through when I want to find out who a seldomly used player is. That page should remain buffered on my phone and it should remember that I selected the roster to be shown in text only mode. But everytime I go back to the roster, it loads from scratch, and goes back to the moronic default, which is to show a detailed write up and big image for every player on the roster. You suck cuse.com!
3) When watching football games at the dome, I always open the ESPN app and go to the show scoreboard section. I am always signed in and always want to see all ACC games. The default however is Top 25. I always change it to ACC scores and every time I go back, I have to change it back from Top 25. It should remember what I like. That is the whole point for making people sign into an app. So you can customize it for the user’s preferences. Can’t wait for the day the default changes to only SEC games. You suck ESPN!
4) When I use my ATM card, why do I have to keep telling the app I want to use it in English? It knows who I am. The ATM can obviously update data on the server for my account (decrement the dollars in it). Why can’t it remember I prefer to do transactions in English? And why do I have to pay $3.50 to get money out from a machine that costs almost nothing to operate, when I can go to a person at my credit union and get the same money from the same account for free? It should be the other way around. You suck credit unions!
5) There needs to be a standard developed for how to use a gas pump. It seems to me just about every one of them is different. They ask different questions, in a different order, some want you to enter zip codes, some don’t, some want you to confirm you don’t want to use the cash wash, some work only with the card inserted in the card reader, some only work when you tap the card. And if you screw a step up, you have to start the whole thing over and it might take a minute for the damn machine to reset. One time I was in a terrible hurry. Was running late for a tee time but was really low on gas so I stopped. The first place I went was closed. Which never happens. The second had two broken pumps and I could only pump deisel, which was not what I needed.
Finally, at the third place I went, I found a working pump. But it had a really weird sequence and I screwed it up a couple of times and had to wait a long time for it to reset. I was by myself and started screaming at the pump and almost passed out because I got so upset. That was the day I realized I was a maniac and needed to take things down 3 notches or I was going to have a stroke.
But Tops gas pumps, you still suck!
6) Why with some brands of pants, the back pockets come sewn shut? It seems to be that the more expensive the pair of pants, the more likely the back pockets are going to be sewn shut. They aren’t easy to open up while you are wearing them. I am not a flexible dude. What is the purpose for sewing the back pockets of pants shut? When did I ever say I wanted this done? Who in the world ever said it would be a good idea if you could make some of the key features of your pants inoperable initially for no apparent reason?
Pants designers of the world, you suck!
I feel a lot better now. Thanks for allowing me to rant.
