As others have mentioned, this has been going on since the beginning of collegiate athletics. The media is just publicizing it because it is Harbaugh.

Will they come up with a corollary rule which forbids coaches from recruiting their own kids? Such a rule would've been troublesome for SU's lacrosse programs and current football program.
