Harvard vs. Storrs

Hate that they stand and clap. Assume they stole it from us.

Harvard, the dominant program in college basketball in New England for the last two years takes on the former heavyweight at Storrs. Harvard comes in favored in this battle of mid majors. UConn is expecting a near sell out in their 10,000 seat gym.

I think the plucky Huskies have a can-do attitude and will take the stairs and put all ten toes in against the superior Crimson. They may even end the game with a moral victory and their heads held high because UConn is a lion that goes after food together or some other such nonsense.

Seriously apparently Ollie, purveyor of such awesomeness as "we take the stairs" and "ten toes in" now likens UConn to a lion and not a gazelle. And their fans eat that crap up.
Can Storrs' Infrastructure support 10k ppl??

How do you know if someone is a UConn fan?

They'll tell about all their national titles no matter how irrelevant they've become.
Like Minnesota in Football did, talking up their 7 national championships, while nice, only one is even remotely historically relevant.

If I were amaker I would be teed up by now. Holy cow homer officiating.

It is awful. Storrs getting away with slapping, grabbing, bumping.

But even if Storrs wins this, they are still struggling with an undermanned Harvard with the referees doing everything they can to help them win.

Cracked up on the one block they showed and it was all wrist and no ball.

Could be a great night. If storrs loses, UK losing at home to miss st and hoyas down 9 to providence 12 mins to go

Need MN to rally, for our RPI's sake, if nothing else.

They did. Back when they had zero identity or tradition. Then they act like we stole it from them. Pitt stole the Oakland Zoo from us too (old Manley Zoo at Manley Field House).

It really sucks that Harvard's best player didn't play.

I wonder if there is a 45 post thread (and counting) on the Boneyard about a Syracuse game this year.

UConn is getting all the breaks this year. They faced a Florida team with a few key absences. Same thing with this Harvard team. Houston spotted them 3 starters and they still lost.

They could have at least 6 losses this year rather easily.
